Nordjevel – Fenriir (EP)

Record Label: Indie Recordings

Year: 2021

Rating: 8/10

Nordjevel serves up a new five-track EP taking its name from the monstrous wolf of Norse Mythology to shorten the wait until their next studio album.

The EP is well balanced and gives a good balance of the current incarnation as well as a look back on the past.

The band decided early in the recording process that some of the tracks didn`t fit their upcoming album, so, the title track “Fenriir”, along with “Rovdyr”, are exclusively available for this EP. Alongside these “Gnawing the Bones” will be one of the new songs that will be on the upcoming album.

Vocals, bass and guitars were recorded at Velvet Recording, Spydeberg, Norway, by Nordjevel and Christer Krogh, whilst drums were recorded at Studio LV5 in Sundsvall, Sweden. With Artwork and layout by Doedsadmiral and long-time collaborator Khaos Diktator Design

Once again delivering icy cold Norwegian Black Metal able to chill any spine with its dark work of evil.
