TRIVAX unleashes their magnum opus and third full-length album, The Great Satan – a bold statement on the dark side of Islam and Middle Eastern turmoil, particularly the devastating 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, led by the mullahs
The album opens with the alluring “Atash,“ which does a great job of creating an atmosphere for the narrative, incorporating Middle Eastern melodies that spill into the fury and urgency of “To Liberation and Beyond”, which nicely demonstrates Trivax’s ability to interweave soundscapes.
As the album moves into “Lawless Eternal…” there is a vast dynamic shift with slow paced melodies which overspill into an amalgamation of atmospherics and is instrumental composition really compliments follow up “Here Comes The Flood” which is enriched in a underpinning bleakness.

Title track “The Great Satan“ really encapsulates the album’s aesthetic and the use of orchestral vocals alongside the subtle narrative style demonstrates the band’s ability to capture the theme of the rebellious embodiment, then the overall crowning glory “Daemon’s Melancholia” brings together the sophisticated and razor-sharp production.
Although short, “Ya Saheb Az Zaman” needs no translator as its chilling delivery is enough, which is then complimented with the heavier outpouring on “Operation Ramadan“.
Concluding with “Taman Shod“ emotive delivery and soundscapes, it perfectly closes what has undoubtedly been a flawless delivery of radical extreme art and real-world darkness
