Let’s start by saying that Voidsphere is a member of the Prava Kollektiv. Prava Kollektiv have also as member Arkhtinn, among others, and it’s a common “secret” that there are common members between these bands.

So, musicwise there are some similarities but not so many. Voidsphere deliver in their debut ambient space like BM, with two long and quite monotonous hymns. Vocals are used on the background in a very abstract way to create even darker and nightmarish atmospheres.

Of course there are many similarities with Darkspace and Paysage D’Hiver, but Voidsphere have also their own identity. In contrast to Arkhtinn, in the sense that the ambient atmosphere sometimes stands as a whole different song, in this album it’s merged throughout the songs.

An excellent release that would certainly captivate you from the start!
