About:
Moribund Oblivion was founded in 1999 by Bahadır Uludağlar. The band made its debut with the “Like a Falling Haze” EP in 2002, followed by the release of their first full-length album, “Khanjar”, in 2004. These early releases helped establish Moribund Oblivion as a prominent name in the Black Metal scene.

Over the years, the band built a loyal and growing fanbase both in Türkiye and internationally. With the release of “Time to Face”, they introduced Black Metal performed entirely in Turkish for the first time—a bold artistic step that expanded their reach and influence.

Prior to releasing the album “K.i.N / Killer is Nowhere”, Moribund Oblivion had already earned a respected place in the global metal community, particularly across Europe. In 2013, the band released “Manevi”, an album with all lyrics in Turkish. The album received high praise across international metal media outlets.

Their upward trajectory continued with the release of “Grand Legacy”, further solidifying their status in the scene.

In 2020, the band gained critical acclaim from European metal circles with the release of “Endless”. This was followed by the 2022 EP “Time is an Illusion”, a prelude to their upcoming full-length album, “INTERTEMPORAL”, scheduled for release on September 12, 2025.

With over two decades of relentless creativity and resilience, Moribund Oblivion remains one of the longest-running and most formidable Black Metal bands to emerge from Türkiye—continuing to carry the torch of Black Metal with unyielding passion.
