Paracrona – Sun God

A soul can create an honest work of art so organic in its nature for the one to bestow eyes upon it would be like peering into the creator’s very own vision, to look beyond words on a parchment or colors that adorn the canvas, in my opinion, this becomes a gift in the language in its own right, for you are now building a path to birth your idea from the womb of creativity to reality. However, along the way, the route may be obscured or lost in its own translation, for the artist may choose naught to hold still the brush that paints the portrait or the pen that etches such words, he continues to add..but in adding, the piece becomes engulfed in its own creation, with hopes to accentuate and be brought to life it is now void of any soul and even the multitude of colors ceases to rejuvenate it.

Paracrona

A balance must be struck, betwixt that which is created and the act of magnifying such work so that it may never drown in its own rivers of creativity. “Sun God” is an album by the Symphonic Black Metal entity, Paracrona, which echoes this sentiment seamlessly, for in essence, its melodies of expulsion radiate the feeling as though it was conceived from a realm alien to human understanding, the very atmosphere exudes a cosmic and unearthly aura to is resonance, and I firmly believe it is the copulation of both these energies that fashions such a potent journey for the mind.

Tracks such as New Impurity and Mendacious displays the merits of this album in their way to achieve an equilibrium wherein the production never cauterizes the motion that the melodies adopt, for instead of constricting its flow, the pristine mix actually allows it to breathe and adds a touch of vibrancy to its shape, as though you can feel the density of the riffs and percussions. The very architecture of this album’s composition is built upon intricate patterns interwoven into each other. However these technical nuances never overshadow the organic spirit that the album exhales, instead, the technicality aids in emphasizing the vocals, such as the track, Therefore I Move The Time, which bestows an ethereal shade manifested from the synergy forged between the production and instrumentals.

Sun God can be looked upon as not just an album but an immersive listening experience that becomes the nautical star which allows the listener to traverse these energies to absorb its celestial language spoken through its melodies and from its sounds a portal is opened for one’s consciousness to cross over into an atmosphere that intertwines itself to the very spirit.
